Nawakamal Foundation aims to promote the empowerment of the community through learning process to reduce poverty, improve good health, and reduce stigma. The main target of foundation are village people, including those the most vulnerable among the vurnerable people that is people with mental disorder (PwMD) and the family. Many aspects of activities must be done: Food support; Therapeutic practicing; Routine home visite; Training family, caregiver, and village cadres on how to care or handle PwMD; Proper medicine need routinly; Small scale economic development; Promote social inclusion to reduce stigma; approacing and advocating Village Government; Local multisector advocating the issues, etc.
Our focuss area now is in Yogyakarta Province and in Sikka District-Flores Island, Indonesia.
